Gateway Blokhus er indgangsportalen til naturlegepladsen i skoven, men også indgangen til et hav af oplevelser som mountainbikeruter, motionsstier, vandreture, picnicarealer, naturbageovn hvor man kan bage sit eget brød, bål og fitnessredskaber. Kort sagt, så findes der alt til alle i denne plantage.
Plantagen kan bruges som et åndehul fra den travle turistsæson om sommeren, hvor man kan høre både vindens susen og havets brusen.
Der findes parkering lige ved indgangen til portalen.
Man føler sig langt væk ude i skoven, og alligvel er byen og haven lige rundt om hjørnet.
